Intended use:

Membrane level indicator with Stainless Steel membrane to be used to control normally the minimum level of bulk solids in silos or vessels.

These controllers consist of a switch actuated by a membrane and it is recommended for dusty and powdery, granulated and grainy bulk goods like dust, flour, grain, sand, plastic, etc. with an easy flow and a bulk density from 0.3 to 2.5 t/m3.


Function:

The membrane must to be exposed to the material.The movement of the switch is the result of the pressure exerted by the incoming bulk material against the membrane which forces the membrane to move backwards, reversing the position of the switch and the signal is used for example to control the transport system in the silo.


The models "A-100", "AD", "SR" y "CD2M" and the models with S.S. membrane have a regulation system by a spring that allows the adjustment of the sensitivity. Tightening the regulation nut to reduce the sensitivity and increase the strain of the material to activate the microswitch. Clockwise insensitive.

The models are adjusted at their maximum sensitivity. It is necessary to ensure the proper pressure to the membrane that returns the membrane when there is no product covering it.


Mechanical connection:

Drill holes in the silo or vessel and mount the indicator using screws, rods, fasteners or nuts M6 making sure of the easy flow of the material and ensure that the product leaves the membrane without product on it.

Working Principle

Electronics of LFV12 excites the piezo-electric-crystals inside the tuning fork, which makes the fork tines vibrate at their natural resonance frequency in free air.

When the fork tines are immersed in liquid, the frequency of fork vibration falls due to the density of liquid.

This change in frequency is detected by electronic circuit.
Liquid presence is thus detected.

Working Principle

Vibrating rod is a single element tunned mechanical element-type level sensing device.

Electronics of LSV-R excites the piezo-electric-crystals inside the tuning rod, which makes the rod vibrate at it’s natural resonance frequency in free air.

When Material touches the rod, vibration stops as resonance gets disturbed.

Amplitudes of vibration are above threshold when rod is free to vibrate.

Amplitudes of vibration, as sensed by the electronics falls below the threshold, Materials presence is thus detected by observing the amplitude of vibration.

Working Principle: 
It operates on the basic buoyancy principle .It uses float that glides on the surface of liquids. This level switch consists of – Terminal Enclosure, Float Stem with Hermetically sealed Reed Switches and Float with magnets assembled inside. As the float rises or falls with liquid level, the internal magnet moves in or out of the field of the switch resulting in its opening or closing. A non-magnetic barrier tube containing the reed switch isolates it from the process. These type level controls are available for controlling level at up to four differentpreset locations and can virtually be made of any length. This switch is highly effective and cost shedding and also finds use in a wide range of industries.
