The differential pressure transmitters of the 984 series are used to measure differential pressure, overpressure and vacuum. They provide up to 8 pressure ranges and 2 output signals, which are easily selectable by jumper or rotary selector switch.

For an optimum adaptation to the application, the transmitter can be switched between various pressure ranges. The factory setting is the most sensitive range. For the series 984M and 984A the less sensitive second range will be selected by simply removing a jumper. For the series 984Q the available eight ranges can be selected by a rotary selector switch.

    The end of the pressure range can be reduced to 50% of its factory set full scale value simply by the use of a push-button.

    Features:

    • Adjustable pressure range: The end of the pressure range can be reduced to 50% of its factory set full scale value simply by the use of a push-button.
    • Output signal:0-10 V or 4-20 mA. Other signals on request.
    • Easy offset calibration: The output signal can be calibrated to zero by pressing the push-button (pressure transmitter must be depressurised).
    • Configurable response time: The response time of the output signal can be configured using a jumper. If the jumper is in place the response time is slow (factory setting), which is useful for suppressing brief pressure peaks. If the application requires a fast response time the jumper must be removed.
    • Volume flow measurement (optional): The shape of the output signal can be programmed to square root by the factory.
    • Reset: The transmitter can be reset to its factory setting, just by pressing the push-button for >10 sec.

    Pressure range
    For an optimal adaptation to the application, different pressure ranges are available. The measurement is carried out by a ceramic pressure measuring cell, temperature-compensated via internal PTC.

    Output signal
    In the 3-wire version there is an output signal of 0 … 10 V, or 4 … 20 mA available. For the 2-wire version the transmitter provides an output signal of 4 … 20 mA.

    Electrical connection
    The electrical connection of the transmitter is optionally available with a 4-pin standardized device plug according to DIN EN 175301 Form A, or with a 4-pin M12 flange plug, A-coded, according to DIN EN 61079.

    DPT-MOD is a multifunctional transmitter for measuring volume flow, velocity, and static and differential pressure. The measurements can be read and the configuration done via Modbus communication.     DPT-CR-MOD is a differential pressure transmitter designed specially for cleanroom monitoring. In addition to differential pressure, the device enables monitoring temperature and relative humidity. A 0…10 V voltage input of an external humidity and temperature transmitter (for example Siro-rH-T) can be connected to the input terminal of the device. In this case, all three measured values (differential pressure, relative humidity, temperature) can be shown simultaneously on the display. Alternatively, a passive temperature sensor can be connected to the input terminal. DPT-CR-MOD is compatible with Modbus serial communication protocol.
    DPT-CR-MOD is used for monitoring and controlling differential pressure, relative humidity and temperature in cleanrooms.

    DPT-Ctrl is a multifunctional PID controller with differential pressure or air flow transmitter.

    DPT-Ctrl enables to control constant pressure or flow of fans, VAV systems or dampers. Its two lined display shows the direction of the control output and the measurement value at the same time. It is possible to select either current or voltage for both the control output and the differential pressure or flow output. The optional autozero function eliminates the need for periodic manual zero point calibration.

     

    DPT-Ctrl series devices include:
